The Brief
After completing university, I did a brief contract with Lives Lived Well (LLW). I was primarily working with the Capability Team, in creating e-learning content/online modules for both their clinical and non-clinical staff.

The content was written by experts on the subject matter, so whilst creating the modules I continuously updated them on my progress and communicated constantly with any questions/queries. I also had to communicate to my manager and respond to their feedback and those of testers in a timely matter to ensure that the modules were relevant, engaging, educational, and beneficial.

Takeaways

Audience
A huge aspect of creating a successful online training program (as well in other aspects of my work), is to know your target audience. You need to know how they think, feel, and react to what they are consuming.
Association
Throughout the entire design process, I involved the specialists to ensure they were constantly involved throughout, as they were some of just the many stakeholders I worked with. It was important to constantly inform the stakeholders to any progress, changes, or adjustments throughout the e-learning creation process.
Administration
To ensure that deadlines were met, and to keep track of all of my project at once, I had to learn basic project tracking and project management. Using Trello, I set up my workspace to track all of my project's progress, due dates, and progression to the next stages of development.
